Raising public awareness about 112

Since the establishment of the Emergency Response Centre, it has had a task to inform the public about 112, its purpose and the benefits of its introduction, its features and future developments, explaining how and when to call this number and when it should not be called.

In raising public awareness, the Emergency Response Centre:

●  holds educational activities for pupils in their premises and other places;

●  participates in events for the general public, talking about its work and explaining the purpose of 112;

●  holds press conferences, publishes its information messages in the media;

●  gives interviews, participates in radio and TV shows;

●  publishes information about its activities and number 112 on social networks and on the website;

●  participates in preventive actions and events held by other institutions and organizations.
